At the very bottom of this page you will find the "live" BBC Church Suite diary where you can see all the upcoming services, meetings and events. You can see a six week period and click on the event titles and see further information.
Currently our Sunday Morning 10.30am Worship Service is conducted live at the church - all are welcome. It is also streamed live via You Tube and you can use the link accessed from this blue "Join the Service" button. The 6.30pm Evening Service at the church is not streamed but please feel free to join us in person.
Dear BBC Fellowship and Friends,
This Sunday the 25th of October at our 10.30am Morning Worship Service, Elder Clive Baines will lead the service and Elder John Phenix will bring us God’s word.
This week John brings us a message entitled “Obeying without agreeing” drawn from 1 Peter Chapter 2 and verses 13-17.
As Christians, we are called to submit to legitimate human authorities, even if we disagree with them or obedience costs us something — not because those authorities are always right, but because we want to obey God.
· Submission does not mean blind obedience or remaining silent about injustice.
The challenge is to examine our hearts, recognise where we resist authority, and learn to obey without defensiveness, defiance or resentment - following Jesus' example and relying on the Spirit's help.
· We do not have to agree with an authority to submit to it, because ultimately we are submitting for the Lord's sake.
