Dear BBC Fellowship and Friends,

This Sunday the 7th of June at our 10.30am Morning Service, Pastor Tim Gamston will lead the service and preach God’s Word for us. This week he will continue his “Consider Jesus” series from Hebrews and Part 15 is entitled “The certainty behind our hope” drawn from Hebrews Chapter 6 verses 11-18. The reading is Genesis 22:1-19

How can we be certain that God's saving purposes will never fail?

In Hebrews 6, the writer points us back to God's promise to Abraham—a promise that reaches far beyond one man and one nation. God pledged to gather a people for Himself from every tribe, language, and nation, and He confirmed that promise with an oath.

This promise finds its fulfilment in Jesus Christ, the promised offspring of Abraham.

  • Through faith in Him, both Jew and Gentile become heirs of God's covenant blessings and are brought into the rest He has prepared for His people.

  • Because God's promise and God's oath cannot fail, our hope rests not in our strength or faithfulness, but in His unchanging character.

Join us as we explore the certainty of God's saving purposes and discover why Christians can press on with confidence, perseverance, and hope.

If you are unable to join us in person, the morning service will be live streamed on the usual Broadstone Baptist Church YouTube channel starting at 10.30 am on Sunday.  Please use the blue "Join the Service" button above to join us.
