What's on in the coming weeks

At the very bottom of this page you will find the "live" BBC Church Suite diary where you can see all the upcoming services, meetings and events. You can see a six week period and click on the event titles and see further information.
Currently our Sunday Morning 10.30am Worship Service is conducted live at the church - all are welcome. It is also streamed live via You Tube and you can use the link accessed from this blue "Join the Service" button. The 6.30pm Evening Service at the church is not streamed but please feel free to join us in person.
Dear BBC Fellowship and Friends,
This Sunday the 10th of May at our 10.30am Morning Service, Elder John Phenix will lead the service and Elder Clive Baines will be preaching. This week Clive will bring us God’s word with a sermon entitled “Walking in the light” drawn from 1 John 1:5 - 2:6
We are challenged to live a different kind of life compared to the world.
John directs our attention to:
-
the perfection of God in that He is light: we need to see this more because it ultimately leads to what we need to aspire to
-
God's nature that will move us to long to walk in His perfect light, even as it exposes the bad news of who we really are and our true nature.
-
the good news, even though we are sinners to the core without excuse and with no place for denial. Walking in the light does not mean we are sinless, but he points us to the power of confession
Finally, John points us to the faithfulness of God through His Son, with the promises that shine light into our darkness, exposing its deeds and bringing healing in confession so that we can continue our walk blameless
