Dear BBC Fellowship and Friends,
This Sunday the 3rd of May at our 10.30am Morning Service, Elder Clive Baines will lead the service and preach . This week Clive will bring us God’s word with a sermon entitled “The joy of knowing Jesus“. drawn from 1 John Ch 1:1-10.
John proclaims that the disciples have seen Jesus. They have touched and heard Him. They have walked and talked with Him, sat down with Him and prayed with Him and they have eaten with Him
· He is Jesus Christ, the Word of Life
How does this amazing experience that John proclaims help us today in our walk with Jesus?
· It gives us the confidence that our faith is built on a real foundation and stands for ever.
· We will see the joy of our relationship with Jesus.
John’s testimony is that when we have fellowship together in the word, we have fellowship with Jesus just as John did.
· There is coming a day when we too will see, touch and hear our Saviour.
If you are unable to join us in person, the morning service will be live streamed on the usual Broadstone Baptist Church YouTube channel starting at 10.30 am on Sunday. Please use the above blue "Join the Service" button to join the live stream.

ORDER OF EVENING SERVICE
SUNDAY 3rd MAY 2026
Welcome and opening prayer
Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord;
Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?
But with you there is forgiveness,
so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.
I wait for the Lord
more than watchmen wait for the morning,
more than watchmen wait for the morning.
Israel, put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love
and with him is full redemption.
He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.
