Dear BBC Church Fellowship and Friends,

This Sunday the 20th of April at our 10.30am Easter Sunday Service, Pastor Tim will be preaching from Luke 24:13-36, and the message is entitled “Experiencing the Risen Christ.”
To say that Jesus is alive is to say that Jesus is with us.
-
He is no longer in the grave, but alive.
-
Because he is alive, he is spiritually present with us and in us.
The problem for us is that sometimes we can be like the two travellers on the road to Emmaus in Luke’s account of the resurrection. Jesus was with them, but they didn’t recognise him.
-
Although Jesus is present with us, we can fail to recognise his presence in our life.
This morning, from the narrative in Luke’s gospel, we will see what Jesus does to help us recognise him and his presence.
Please use the blue "Join the Service" button above to link to the live YouTube screening of the service.

While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel. And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen. (Luke 24:1-6 ESV)
