Dear BBC Fellowship and Friends,
This Sunday the 26th of April at our 10.30am Morning Service, Elder Clive Baines will lead the service as we continue our “More on Mission” segment. This week Pastor Tim will bring us God’s word with a sermon entitled “The reality of God and the power of his Word“ drawn from 2 Corinthians 3:1-3; 3:12 - 4:6
God’s will for our lives is our sanctification (1 Thessalonians 4:3).
-
What is sanctification, and how does sanctification happen?
-
This week we will discover that sanctification is a process by which we are being transformed into the image of Christ as we behold his glory in the gospel.
-
In this process the work of the Holy Spirit is essential, as is prayerfully mediating on the word of God.
-
If you are unable to join us in person, the morning service will be live streamed on the usual Broadstone Baptist Church YouTube channel starting at 10.30 am on Sunday. Please use the blue "Join the Service" button above to make the link.
ORDER OF SERVICE
SUNDAY 26TH APRIL 2026
Welcome and call to worship
That which was from the beginning,
which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes,
which we looked upon and have touched with our hands,
concerning the word of life — the life was made manifest,
and we have seen it, and testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life,
which was with the Father and was made manifest to us—
that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you,
so that you too may have fellowship with us;
and indeed our fellowship is with the Father
and with his Son Jesus Christ.
And we are writing these things so that our joy may be complete..
